Random Ideas

Torg! I never go into the original Torg.  I remember seeing the boxed set at WaldenBooks  but I just couldn't grok what they were attempting to do and none of my friends showed the slightest interest.  About 15 years ago, I borrowed a friend's copy of the game to attempt to learn it but I still just could not grasp what made it so popular.  Part of that is that apparently character creation wasn't included in the core rules and I abhor games that force you to play pre-generated archetypes. Now, 20+ years later, a new edition is being published.  Ulisses Spiele , a lovely little German company has bought the rights to the game and has just run a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, which I was more than happy to be a part of.  You can check out both the kickstarter page and the company website to learn quite a bit about the new version of the game.

Hi there! As of right this minute, I have absolutely nothing to put here, I clicked on the blog option in my gmail to see where it took me and this popped up.  I have a couple of different ideas on what to do here, which honestly are the same ideas that every other schmo who creates a blog does.  There will be nothing earth-shattering here. Until then... May your days be filled with wonder.
